Hillside Village members were invited to make and pass out free popcorn to residents of El Sereno last December 2008. Council person Jose Huizar and his staff organized this special holiday event which offered the community an opportunity to listen to live holiday music and participate in a variety of Christmas related activity booths. All children were given free gifts and were able to play with snow from a snow machine.
